Bryan Peck

Registered Psychologist

Bryan is a registered psychologist with around 15 years involvement in the mental health field, and approximately 5 years providing psychological therapy. He has worked across education and community contexts supporting children, young people, families, and adults.

Bryan’s approach is grounded, relational, and formulation-led. He aims to understand symptoms as meaningful, self-protective patterns shaped by context, history, relationships, and the nervous system — not simply problems to be removed.

His work supports people to make sense of repeated patterns, reduce shame and self-criticism, strengthen self-understanding, and move toward practical, values-based change.

Ruhe: A word meaning Stillness.

Ruhe is a German word that translates to Stillness, Quiet, Calm.

It describes a state where things have Settled — not because life has become easy, but because the mind and body are no longer being pulled around by the Storm - both internal or external.

In therapy, this kind of Steadiness matters. When things settle enough, we can start to see more clearly what is going on inside and around us.

I chose the name Ruhe Psychology because there is value in trying to create this kind of space — where things can slow down, where people can speak honestly about the most difficult parts of life, and where we can work together to find a steady way forward.

Ruhe does not mean life becomes quiet or perfect. It means building enough calm and clarity to face life as it is.
